The U.S. military on Sunday announced a lethal strike on another vessel in the Caribbean carrying alleged narco-traffickers, killing two people. The U.S. Southern Command said it conducted a "lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations" at the direction of the leader of the Southern Command, Gen. Francis L. Donovan of the Marine Corps. The military claimed, citing intelligence, that the vessel "was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations." A New York City Police Department officer on Sunday shot a driver who was attempting to evade cops after the vehicle was reportedly stolen, according to authorities. A silver Kia Sportage was reported stolen from the Bronx and tracked through license plate readers before it was later located by police as the driver was traveling along West Fordham Road. Officers attempted to pull over the driver and repeatedly ordered the driver and passenger to step out of the vehicle. Vice President JD Vance landed in Switzerland early Sunday to help launch a new round of negotiations with Iran, as the Trump administration pushes for a lasting agreement following a recently signed ceasefire. Disneyland must swap out the gas-powered engines in the ride cars for the iconic Autopia ride by early next year or the park will be forced to shutter the attraction, according to local reports. The park must comply with California ’s strict emissions regulations by February 2027, according to the Orange County Register.   Autopia was one of the original attractions of the Anaheim theme park when it opened in July 1955, and the only one left in Tomorrowland.
