Florida mom slams school after she says son was given ‘dictator’ award, asserts district targets conservatives

A  Florida mom is calling out the "toxic environment" of a major public school district after a teacher allegedly nominated her son for a "most likely to become a dictator" award.  "What motivated me to go to the state Department of Education is that I've had numerous run-ins with this school district," Florida mom Crystal Marull told  Fox News Digital in an interview Friday about her experience with Alachua County Public Schools in north central Florida. During  Wednesday’s State Board of Education meeting , Marull called out Alachua County Public Schools and highlighted personal examples where she said that her children have been treated unfairly.  FEMALE TEACHER IN AFFLUENT FLORIDA CITY ACCUSED OF INAPPROPRIATE RELATIONSHIP WITH TEEN GIRL "My son, six years old, was prohibited from sitting next to his friend on the school bus because a parent objected to my perspectives on book challenges," Marull said during the meeting, speaking of...

Trump battles John Bolton, Chris Christie and threatens to pull funds from Wes Moore’s Maryland

I asked Donald Trump the question. Everyone asked Donald Trump the question. Would he engage in retribution in a second term? And we all got the same answer: He’d be too busy for that. His only retribution would be success. Well, if Trump is not engaged in turning government against his political enemies, he’s doing a pretty good imitation of it. Now, hardball politics is as old as the republic. The founders engaged in it. Abe Lincoln engaged in it. And you think LBJ never got his way by threatening to pull a grant or two for a congressman’s pet projects? Look, one thing I’ve learned covering Trump for decades is that he loves to fight. In New York, back in the day, he would do battle with the likes of Ed Koch and Leona Helmsley, the "Queen of Mean." Australia boots Iranian diplomats after alleging Islamic Republic behind recent antisemitic attacks

The Australian government says it is expelling two Iranian diplomats after alleging that the Islamic Republic was behind at least two antisemitic attacks in Sydney and Melbourne.  Speaking to reporters, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the country’s main domestic spy agency, ASIO, had "gathered enough credible intelligence to reach a deeply disturbing conclusion."  "The Iranian government directed at least two of these attacks," Albanese said, referring to recent attacks on a Sydney restaurant and a Melbourne synagogue. "Iran has sought to disguise its involvement but ASIO assesses it was behind the attacks."  The Australian government informed Iran's ambassador to Australia shortly before Albanese’s announcement that they would be expelled. It also withdrew Australian diplomats posted in Iran to a third country. Utah judge strikes down Republicans' congressional maps in gerrymandering case

A judge ordered the Utah legislature on Monday to redraw its congressional maps in time for next year’s midterm elections, finding the state legislature unlawfully gerrymandered its districts in favor of Republicans. Judge Dianna Gibson said in a 76-page order that the legislature must pass a "remedial congressional map" by the end of September. State lawmakers have already signaled they plan to appeal, meaning the case is likely headed for the Utah Supreme Court and possibly the U.S. Supreme Court. Gibson’s order comes after a fight between two of the country’s largest states, Texas and California, thrust gerrymandering into the national spotlight. Gerrymandering is the practice of changing the boundaries of a congressional district in a state to benefit one political party, which critics say dilutes votes. Trump’s use of National Guard in DC is a model for saving America’s cities

As crime ravages America’s cities, the moment demands a bold, standardized and reliable solution. President Donald Trump is delivering exactly that with a blueprint for national safety through the deployment of over 800 National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., to save our capital from chaos driven by crime.   Backed by federal authority and Republican-led state support, this approach proves that law and order can be restored and offers a lifeline to other cities collapsing under failed local leadership. This is decisive leadership in action that builds trust, restores safety and revives economic opportunity.   D emocrats deny there’s a crime surge. They keep telling Americans crime is declining but the reality on the ground exposes the lie. The United States Department of Justice is now investigating Washington, D.C. ’s Metropolitan Police Department for allegedly manipulating crime data to present a rosy picture of public safety. If a Democrat-run city like D.C. can fud...

Trump hits ABC, NBC as ‘FAKE NEWS,’ says he’d support FCC revoking licenses

President Trump went on a late-night attack against NBC and ABC News on Sunday, deriding them for what, in his view, was "biased" coverage and said he would be in favor of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revoking their licenses.  The Republican president said the news outlets had given him negative coverage on "97%" of stories.  It wasn’t clear from where Trump was citing the "97%" figure. A study released earlier this year by the conservative media watchdog group, Media Research Center (MRC), found that coverage of the president’s first 100 days in office was "92% negative."  "IF THAT IS THE CASE," Trump wrote in his characteristic use of all caps, "THEY ARE SIMPLY AN ARM OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND SHOULD, ACCORDING TO MANY HAVE THEIR LICENSES REVOKED."  BROADCAST BIAS: NETWORKS SNOOZE AS TOP BIDEN AIDES TAKE THE FIFTH ON BIDEN-DECLINE SCANDAL Trump said he would be "totally in favor" of the move ...

Trump tells Grassley to tell Democrats 'go to HELL' over blocked judicial nominees in Senate

President Donald Trump on Sunday blasted the Senate’s "blue slip" tradition, calling it an unconstitutional affront to his appointment power and alleging that his rights have "been completely taken away from me in States that have just one Democrat United States Senator." The president is referring to his ability to nominate judges and U.S. Attorneys, accusing the custom of essentially giving Democrats veto power over his nominees. U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley is defending the century-old process, saying he views it as a norm worth preserving for balance and state input. GRASSLEY REBUKES TRUMP'S PRESSURE TO 'HAVE THE COURAGE' TO SPEED UP NOMINATIONS Blue slips are a long-standing tradition but are not a codified law, and constitutionally he is only allowed the power to nominate while the Senate ultimately approves or rejects that nomination. Trump’s frustration with the Senate’s blue slip practice isn’t new. In July, Trump called the tradition a ...
