Former Attorney General Pam Bondi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer shortly after departing the Department of Justice last month, according to a report. Bondi, 60, who left her role at the Justice Department in early April, underwent treatment and is recovering, a source told Axios . A skydiver died Sunday following a reported midair collision between two jumpers, authorities said Monday. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near Colville, northeast of Washington state , according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO). The impact occurred during a scheduled group jump involving multiple participants, officials said, adding that several staff members reportedly watched the tragedy unfold as the victim appeared to become unresponsive during the descent. A dog reportedly triggered a shotgun inside a truck during a stop at a Nebraska gas station Saturday, sending a blast through the vehicle and  injuring a woman in another vehicle several yards away, according to local reports, citing Nebraska authorities. The incident unfolded shortly after noon when the vehicle pulled into Short Stop, a gas station and convenience store, located at 2002 Avenue I , KNOP reported . According to the Scottsbluff Police Department, the dog remained inside the vehicle after the owner stepped into the store. Another passenger riding along also stepped outside but stayed near the front passenger-side door, the outlet said.
