DOJ outlines 10 ‘wins’ under Trump, says agency restored after Biden era

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Wednesday outlined a list of its accomplishments during President Donald Trump ’s first year back in office, arguing that the agency has ended the political weaponization it says existed under the Biden administration. The DOJ claimed in a statement posted on X that it has "turned around" the agency, restoring fairness and law enforcement priorities. "Instead of keeping Americans safe, the Biden DOJ weaponized its power against political opponents: conservatives, parents, pro-lifers, Christians, and most of all, President Trump," the DOJ stated. The DOJ said that after President Trump inherited a justice system it described as "in chaos," he charged the department with restoring "integrity, accountability and equal justice under the law." MORNING GLORY: 2026 should be year antisemitism becomes unacceptable in America again

There has been a more-or-less constant but relatively small level of antisemitism in the post-World War II United States, but it was widely shunned and those who gave voice to it were marginalized. Opposition to antisemitism was part of the "American Consensus" after the war and the Holocaust. Along with the breakthrough in race relations that accompanied the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the turn against antisemitism was sharp, sustained and broadly shared. Although relations between the United States and Israel rose and fell, the acceptability of Jew-hatred plummeted to near zero in the U.S., and from the 1967 Six Day War and the 1973 Yom Kippur War, American support for the State of Israel has been high and steady.  Israel has become one of America’s most important strategic allies — a nuclear and intelligence superpower with the will to project hard power when necessary in its own national interest, which usually coincides with America’s. ...

Eric Adams says Biden DOJ used 'lawfare' against him, compares treatment to Trump

Outgoing New York City Mayor Eric Adams argued that the Biden administration's Justice Department engaged in "lawfare" against the former president's political opponents, including himself on corruption allegations and President Donald Trump over issues such as mishandling classified documents. "I think what we have witnessed under President Biden's Justice Department, Americans should never have to live through that again," Adams said on Monday during an appearance on Fox News' "The Story." "You saw everyday Americans who fought for the education of their children being put on watch lists, I think that you saw what happened with Charlie Kirk, when you saw the raiding of President Trump's home. Debates should have happened … I think that you're seeing the clear indication that the Justice Department under the previous administration used lawfare to go after those who disagree with them," he added. Affordability, DOGE and the language that captured American politics in 2025

The Words That Remade America in 2025 There's a peculiar magic to language moments — those rare instances when a phrase or term suddenly captures something we've all been feeling, but couldn't quite articulate, and then refuses to let go. For most of 2025, I found myself cataloging them, watching as new words and reframed ideas metastasized through our politics, our culture, our everyday conversations in ways that felt genuinely consequential. If I had to identify the single most consequential word of the year — the one that actually changed the trajectory of elections and scrambled the political narrative — it would be this: affordability. Affordability: The Word That Rewired Everything JONATHAN TURLEY: WITH 'RAGE BAIT' CROWNED WORD OF THE YEAR, FREE SPEECH BECOMES THE TARGET Here's what fascinates me about the rise of "affordability" as a political frame. For decades, we've operated on the assumption that "the economy" is what mat...

UK prime minister slammed for welcoming home freed Egyptian prisoner after social media posts resurface

U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer is facing criticism after he welcomed home a recently released Egyptian prisoner who allegedly posted violent and antisemitic language on his social media in the past. Successive British governments have pushed for the release of Alaa Abd el-Fattah, a dual British-Egyptian national who had been behind bars in Egypt for most of the last 14 years. He was released from prison in September following a pardon by the Egyptian president but remained in the country under a travel ban that was only recently lifted, allowing him to return to the U.K. on Friday. Starmer celebrated Abd el-Fattah's return by saying he was "delighted" that the activist had been reunited with his family in Britain. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM This was a back-and-forth game all night long on the scoreboard, and it began on the first offensive snap of the game for the 49ers. Edwards picking off the pass and taking it back 34 yards for the pick-six just 15 seconds into the game. The 49ers immediately faced a 7-0 deficit, but Purdy was unfazed all game long, and it showed on the ensuing dri...

‘Perception vs. reality’: Trump’s economy picks up speed — but voters aren’t buying it yet

Economic momentum is building under President Donald Trump , but translating those gains into political advantage will require sharper messaging, economist Stephen Moore said, as voters remain skeptical despite improving indicators. "There's a perception and there's reality," explained Moore in an interview with Fox News Digital.  "The reality is what the numbers show — that median family income is up by about $1,200 this year, adjusted for inflation. We’re seeing real increases in wealth. Anyone investing in the stock market — not just rich people, but about 160 million Americans — has retirement savings in stocks." Kennedy Center president demands $1M from jazz musician who canceled Christmas Eve show

The president of the Kennedy Center on Friday sharply criticized longtime jazz musician Chuck Redd for canceling his Christmas Eve performance days after the White House announced that President Donald Trump ’s name would be added to the iconic performing arts institution in Washington, D.C. Kennedy Center president Richard Grenell said Redd's decision financially harmed the nonprofit institution, and he would seek $1 million in damages, accusing him of carrying out a "political stunt." "Your decision to withdraw at the last moment — explicitly in response to the Center's recent renaming , which honors President Trump's extraordinary efforts to save this national treasure — is classic intolerance and very costly to a non-profit Arts institution," Grenell wrote in a letter to Redd, obtained by Fox News Digital. Fox News Digital could not immediately reach Redd for comment. CONTROVERSIAL 'OCTOBER 7' SURVIVORS PLAY COMING TO TRUMP-LED KENNEDY CE...

I lost my baby daughter, but God’s love can help us past grief this Christmas

For many, Christmas is a time of celebration, laughter and loved ones gathering. But for others, it magnifies the grief of what could be and awakens memories we wish we could forget. A season that promises peace can instead expose our deepest pain.  Before founding Auntie Anne’s, I walked through a season of darkness that I never thought I would escape. The loss of my 19-month-old daughter Angie created a hole in my heart that made it seem as though joy would always be out of reach.  The darkness of grief can make it seem like all hope is lost. I kept wondering when, or if, I could ever piece myself back together. Following my daughter’s death, I sought help from our pastor but was taken advantage of and abused for seven years. My grief led me down a path of shame I thought there was no coming back from. I found myself all alone in a world of secrets and darkness.  AT CHRISTMAS, GOD FULFILLS HIS PURPOSE — AND GIVES US OURS God’s love was the turning point and light ...
